Gospel House Tour
What Is The Gospel House Tour?
The Gospel House during construction
In May 2012, five guys from Southeastern University will ride their bicycles from Lakeland, Florida to Portland, Maine in an effort to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ while simultaneously raising support for the completion of an mission’s project in Uganda, Africa. The trek is about 1,700 miles and will take an estimated 35 days to complete.
Why Make the Trip?
In the summer of 2010 Mason Gravley took a short-term missions trip to Uganda, Africa where he learned about a project called the "Gospel House." Basically, it’s a home under construction in where anyone will be able to come, eat, and sleep for free once the house is finished. It’s being built and managed by Steven Sebyala, a Ugandan native and local pastor who founded Africa Harvest Mission.
